Laser treatments at Be Your Kind begin with understanding your skin. Your provider will evaluate your skin type, pigmentation, redness, and treatment history before recommending Dye‑VL IPL, ClearLift, or a combination of both, as part of a personalized plan for clearer, brighter, and more even-looking skin over time.
Targets brown spots and sun damage
Dye‑VL IPL uses targeted light energy to address visible sun damage, age spots, freckles, and uneven pigmentation. As treated pigment rises to the surface and naturally clears, the skin appears brighter and more even.
Reduces redness & visible vessels
Dye‑VL IPL targets the appearance of diffuse redness, rosacea, broken capillaries, and visible vessels, customized to help create a calmer, more balanced complexion without resurfacing the skin.
Addresses complex pigmentation
ClearLift uses short nanosecond laser pulses to break apart unwanted pigment with minimal heat buildup in the surrounding skin, a thoughtful option for deeper or more complex pigmentation, including melasma.
Supports collagen production

The process
How laser treatments work.
Before your visit
Avoid tanning, excessive sun exposure, and self-tanner before your Dye‑VL IPL or ClearLift treatment. Use broad-spectrum SPF daily and pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other potentially irritating products as directed. Tell your provider about any medications, recent procedures, active skin irritation, or history of cold sores.
During treatment
Your provider will cleanse and assess your skin before selecting settings based on your skin type and concerns. Protective eyewear is provided throughout. You may feel mild warmth, light snapping, or tingling as the energy is delivered, but most clients find the treatment comfortable and well tolerated.
After your visit
Keep your skincare gentle and use broad-spectrum SPF consistently. Temporary redness, mild swelling, or darkening of treated pigment may occur, particularly after Dye‑VL IPL. Avoid picking or exfoliating the area, and limit heat, strenuous exercise, and direct sun exposure as instructed while your skin recovers.
